Traveling feels often like dreaming---surreal and fragmented. I sourced Caroline and Antwerpen from my own photographs a few years ago taken in Europe, to somehow make sense of the physical places that I inhabited briefly and to where I often revisit mentally.

A growing archive of everyone I know in person begun in 2010. I attempt to “collect” every single person that I have met face to face. Some drawings are done from observation, others from social media such as Facebook. Deciding whom to add is an organic process in which I wait for an urge to draw a specific person to come. I'm interested/fascinated by the impact and number of personal relationships/interactions a person can leave in their existence. ︎︎︎
